Scartho village is one of the areas most sought after locations, the beautiful Lincolnshire wolds nature reserve is a short drive away, popular with nature lovers and walkers alike. The vibrant city of Lincoln which is 40 minutes away, known for the medieval Lincoln Cathedral, and beautifully preserved historic building, most notably the 19th century Lincoln arboretum just on the doorstep. There are good rail connections from both Grimsby and Cleethorpes, whilst Humberside Airport is only around 15 miles away.

Scartho offers a wide range of local amenities, include a health centre, opticians, beauticians, hairdressers and a variety of eateries; it is in short walking distance to the town’s hospital, Diana Princess of Wales. There is a wide range of schools in the area, an excellent nursery school in the heart of the village, various primary schools including Scartho Infants and junior school. The secondary school, Tollbar Academy is the largest in the region.
